When we look for a new house, we want a place to live that is safe and meets our needs. Our goal at the Mandt System, from our beginning 50 years ago, has been to provide safety and meet the needs of the organizations who use our program. Mandt 3.0 has been one more step in a gradual evolution of that purpose and based on the feedback you have provided us about the changes we have made to the curriculum, it seems we have moved in the right direction. Of course, we didn’t do this alone, we sought out and listened to the people who use and teach our program, so much of the credit goes to those who shared their time and provided input to inform the changes we made.
Now, if you’ve ever had a house built or done a major renovation, you know that there are often setbacks and difficulties. These projects are rarely if ever done on time, cost more than expected, and when you move in you find things that aren’t quite right and need to be fixed.
As the Director of eLearning and Technology here at Mandt much of my time is spent as part of the team giving input into the things that still need some fixes when using the new 3.0 MRC. There are some things that simply don’t work quite right yet, and I want to let you know that our developers (builders) are working on getting them fixed.
We are not just working on the bugs and errors that some of you are experiencing, but also have some upcoming improvements you will be seeing soon with new types of course reports and the ability to generate student record reports to get the data you need from the system in more efficient ways. We are listening to your suggestions and requests and will be working through each part of the system to make it more functional and easier to use so you can spend more time and energy working with your staff and individuals served in your organizations.
If you are unsure how to do something in the 3.0 MRC and have not yet discovered them, there are step by step guides in the Resources section on how to complete the major functions and processes in the system. Of course, if something isn’t working quite right, please use the Contact Us button to make a support request and we will assist you the best we can.
Thank you for choosing the Mandt System as your house to provide prevention, de-escalation, and intervention strategies and techniques to help make your organization a place where the people who live and work there can say, “In this place, and with these people, I feel safe.”
